How to update the Play Store

Step 1: Make sure Google Play services is up to date

Depending on the device model, the names of the steps may vary.

If an error occurs requiring you to update Google Play, you need to follow these steps:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Settings app and find «Apps»

  1. Tap «App managment».

  1. Scroll or search "Google Play services" and tap
  2. Tap Update or Install.

    If you don’t find these options, follow the steps in Step 2 and Step 3.

Step 2: Clear cache & data from Google Play services

After opening the Google Play Services application in the settings, select the "Memory usage" item

In the menu that opens, you need to delete the data and cache, and then restart your phone

Step 3: Clear the cache & data of the Play Store

In the app search menu of your phone, find "Google Play"

In the menu that opens, you need to delete the data and cache, and then restart your phone

After completing these steps, restart your phone and try to log in to the app again
